Blonde hair can be an expensive ordeal! And it is so hard to get right and keep right. The number of times ‘purple shampoo’ has actually turned hair .. well.. purple is far to high. So it is very important to find a reliable hair care routine. We have fallen head over heels for the Redken Extend Blondage Collection, which will set you back a little for the size of the bottle, but this is key. You do not need to use it all that much! A small amount goes a long way to taking those brassy strands. Jump in the shower, and start with the shampoo. A walnut sized amount is ample. Work through your hair and leave for approximately 2-3 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly and follow up with the conditioner. Use the same sized portion and work through the ends of your hair and leave for another 2-3 minutes. Rinse.
We would say perhaps use this 2-3 times a week and in between use a conditioning treatment to ensure hair is kept in great condition. We live just using coconut oil, melting in the palm and then massaging through the hair. Leave this on for a night if you can and wash your hair the next morning.
