Triton’s innovativley designed showers offer incredible style and functionality to modern-traditional bathroom designs.

Johnson Tiles, the UK’s leading manufacturer of ceramic tiles, have released their annual trends reports. Their experienced design team travels the world to source the latest emerging trends that filter through Triton’s innovatively designed showers, offering a timeless and stylish look to modern-traditional bathroom designs.

Monochrome

A black and white colour palette is, truly, a timeless trend, and remains key across all aspects of interior design. This is thanks to its ability to provide a touch of sophistication and modern luxury to any space. When using monochrome, many exciting approaches can be taken to create beautiful contrasts through different textures, patterns and finishes. Whether opting for a subtle yet effective finish or a vibrant, exaggerated statement, it’s extremely versatile and never dates.

This monochrome themed bathroom works especially well with The Triton Amore White Gloss, (RRP from €295). The Triton Amore from Triton’s Affordable Style collection is sleek, modern and ultra-stylish. Choose from three gorgeous finishes to suit your personal style and home – classic white gloss; understated but ever-elegant brushed steel; or black gloss with chrome fittings.

Textured Surfaces

Textured surfaces continue to be an important element of tile design, mainly seen on small format tiles to create a handcrafted and traditional look. Organic patterning such as crackle and raku feature heavily, alongside various glazes. Carving and reactive effects are a way of enhancing surface detail – from subtle organic patterns to bold geometrics. This year, a mixture of matt and gloss finishes made more of an appearance in Milan, Cevisama and Cersaie, creating a textural, tactile result.

This eye catching, textured surface design features the Triton Novel SR (RRP €299) featuring a built-in silent running motor design, which now allows the user to enjoy a powerful shower in blissful peace and quiet. It comes in an attractive crisp white colour which will work in every bathroom and introduce a fresh new look.

Patchwork

Patchwork continues to be favoured in interior design, especially for tiles, using classic small square format with traditional decorative patterns fading into concrete backgrounds. The result of which, is a distressed, heritage feel. In contrast to this, bold geometric shapes are also widely used for a cleaner and more contemporary look. Tin tile patchwork creates a statement feature, adopting varying colour palettes from muted tones to luxurious metallics.

This trendy, patchwork bathroom works is complimented by the Triton Kensey Sequential Exposed (RRP €280). Featuring a unique crosshead design, this stylish range is perfect for updating a traditional-style bathroom or creating that smart and eclectic ‘shabby chic’ look in a modern environment.
