Fashion Friday: Cashmere basics

Feel free to share:

Update your knitwear with Cashmere

Invest in quality this year. Make that your moto! Save yourself money, time and help the environment by only investing in items that you will wear seasons and seasons to come. (and not just throw out when they’re out of fashion)

In this Fashion Friday, we help you with suggestions on how to overhaul your knitwear collection. And our knit of choice? Cashmere. Don’t worry if you are on a bit of a tighter budget, again, it’s about knowing where to look to find good value for money.

Here are our top three picks.

1- Neutral cardigans.

These are great for all seasons really. And the neutral palette means they will go with almost anything. Cold outside in the winter, throw on and wear as some cosy loungewear. And in the summer, try throwing over a lace / silk camisole tucked into jeans, with a statement belt and some cute sandals (see inspiration photo).

We love this one from H&M. Being high street the price tag isn’t too steep either.

£79.99 at H&M.

2. Oversized Jumper

Easy to do. Get up, throw on! Try over a pair of textured or even leather jeans during the colder months or try over a pleated floaty skirt or shorts when it warms up. Also add some statement jewellery to take this to an evening look.

Try this beautiful stone coloured high neck jumper from Whistles.

£140 (was £180) at Whistles.

 3. The Jumper Dress

Trending right now are jumper dressed worn with knee high boots. This is a very easy look to do throughout winter and leading into spring. Simple, on trend and elegant. By opting for a cashmere version, a slight luxurious edge is added.

We love this Jumper dress by

H&M. Wear with a slip underneath for an added layer.

£59.99 at H&M.
