Burberry February 2017 Collection – London Fashion Week

On Monday evening, Burberry re-launched Makers House as the venue for their February 2017 collection. Still with the same principle of see now, buy now, the collection included both womenswear and menswear.

The runway was decorated with Henry Moore sculptures of which were definitely reflected in the actual collection itself. Like the sculptures, Christopher Bailey, Creative Director at Burberry, included exaggerated and round proportions, particularly on shoulders and sleeves. By the looks of this collection, statement sleeves are still a thing! and now short, cropped capes might be too! The finale of the collection saw many stunning capes added to the outfits for one last parade around the venue. Also features were many embellishments, statement knitwear and feathers.
