Louis Vuitton SS18

Menswear

Mens Fashion week has now gone to paris, and here we have the lowdown on the most recent Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring Summer Collection that was shown last week in Paris.

Louis Vuitton’s head of menswear, Kim Jones, brought a tropical and sporty edge to this seasons show with bright coloured printed surfer style shirts paired with loose fitting shorts, with the occasional trench coat thrown over the top. The tailoring was very relaxed, which would be expected for a spring summer collection, and contrasted with surfer inspired wet suit pieces.

The classic LV monogram featured hugely across the accessories, which really kept the collection true to the fashion house. Also on the accessories front, there were many surfer inspired beaded necklaces worn with many of the looks. Denim hats were also worn.

Overall, if we are to take anything from this collection, it is that surfer dude fashion will be huge next spring summer in menswear fashion.
