The superb 2015 and ’16 vintages are tough acts to follow. But 2017 has provided a third excellent year in the Rhône.
The Northern reds are a highlight within Richard Hemming MW’s words – “the stars aligning”. The resulting wines offer structure, finesse and the ability to age with elegance.
In the South, the vintage produced approachable yet age-worthy wines that are a credit to their makers.
