A NEW culture of polo, just for beginners has opened less than 10 minutes away from the heart of Bunclody in County Wexford and aims to welcome all in a mission of friendship and respect on and off the field. Guided by a team of expert umpires and coaches, learning how to play polo couldn’t be easier than sitting up on the back of a beautifully trained horse. As skill levels grow under the management of Polo Manager, Alejo Aita Tagle, a real Argentine who has put many a novice rider through a variety of paces, it won’t be long before there is an opportunity to join the Starters League.
Bunclody Polo Club in County Wexford has just launched the Starters League, offering a new opportunity to learn how to play poloBeginners polo at Bunclody Polo Club is designed as a supportive and encouraging pathway for players and the expert instructors, who are there to pass on their experience and knowledge at all levels of the game for safe and fun polo. The day’s polo concludes with an Argentine Asado, a barbecue at the clubhouse before returning later at night to two very different sorts of accommodation.
