Tina Farey – Fellowship Evening
Founding member of the Rush creative team, Tina Farey strikes an admirable pose for the company as Editorial Director and Artistic team member. With a signature style of creating strong, bold colour and edgy finished looks, it’s her vision that’s cited as inspiration for Rush’s Session Team development.
Tina was awarded London Hairdresser of the Year for 2019 for her contribution to the hairdressing industry and on the 11th November, Tina was celebrated by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing at the Rush Academy. The fellowship and Rush collaborated to create an intimate and inspiring evening of hair, interviews and anecdotes dedicated to her brilliance, success and artistry.
The evening began with an introduction from Simon Shaw from the Fellowship, commending Tina’s achievements and discussing how she has risen to her hairdressing fame. Tina then took to the stage to begin to display the looks she had created for the evening.

I joined Rush as an apprentice and when I became a stylist, I quickly built up a fully booked column and progressed to a Company Consultant level 2. I am very energetic and my passion knows no boundaries so I was quick to share my vision, dreams and goals with CEO Stell Andrew.
My energy working side by side with my creativity has lead me to win a place on the Rush Workshop Team, become an Educator within Rush, travel the globe working alongside the Rush Artistic Team at shows and seminars, and it has given me the platform to share my creative work through photographic images making me a 4X finalist at the British Hairdressing Awards.
