Irish Film Institute - Abel Ferrara Visits the IFI

JUST ANNOUNCED: Abel Ferrara visits the IFI on January 22nd for a screening of his new film Tommaso, followed by a Q&A – tickets available now.

We hope all your Christmas plans and parties and presents are going swimmingly so far. If you’re in town for that last bit of shopping, the delicious Christmas menu is serving every day at the IFI Café Bar and we might have some ideas on what to get that film fan in your life in the IFI FilmShop. We also have gift cards available which can be redeemed throughout the IFI and make the perfect present. Available at Box Office or online – order before the 20th to ensure delivery before Christmas!

Our regular screenings will continue up to December 23rd, but the cinemas will close from the 24th to the 26th inclusive. The Coffee Dock and IFI Café Bar will be open on the 24th along with the IFI FilmShop which has extended opening hours throughout the festive season.

This week, we host a Wild Strawberries screening of Sometimes Always Never (Wednesday) and our IFI Family film The Man Who Invented Christmas (Sunday), and welcome new releases Buddies and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, alongside returning favourites from 2019, Bait and Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool.
