Ireland’s largest annual beauty show returned to the RDS this weekend, Sunday 8th of March. In it’s fifteenth year, The Irish Beauty Show will be running for two days showcasing all the latest beauty trends, live demos and all the biggest brands in the Irish market. Luna by Lisa Jordan, Bare by Vogue, Bbold and Nima Brushes include some of the brands onsite along with worldwide brands such as Benefit.

On Sunday, the Irish National Body Paint Tournament was held for the first time ever. The competition held in association with Dublin Body Paint sees three categories all with the theme “Studio 54”, the legendary New York nightclub emblematic of 1970’s disco culture. Ireland has a vibrant body painting community and by partnering with the Dublin Body Paint team, the Irish Beauty Show brings an exciting and innovative element to the show.

The Irish Nail Tournament also took place on Sunday. This competition is in it’s fifth year and sees competitors travel from far and wide. This year’s art theme is “Rags to Riches” which saw hundred’s of talented nail technicians compete for this year’s highly coveted prize.

Special guest Erin McGregor was found at the Vooduz Hair stand accompanied by her daughter Taylor.
A trained hairdresser, Erin was giving hair demos throughout the day, if you are nearby pop down to their stand.

From tanning to waxing, makeup to nails as well as the latest trending treatments, there is something for everyone!
