Glascorn Polo opens new round of online polo lessons
GLASCORN Polo has opened a new round of online lessons, signing up until 8th June with former 10-goal player Ernesto Trotz, director of instructors at the Argentine Polo Association.
Trotz will present the online tutorial with Glascorn Polo founder Francisco ‘Pancho’ MacLoughlin, a certified instructor with the AAP who has competed professionally in more than 10 countries during his career.
“I took part in the first online polo class,” said former student, Conny Haufele. “It made my love for polo. Thanks to Pancho and Ernesto for all your help and hints and we can’t wait to get back on the field to try and implement what we learned.”
Online participants will learn the correct riding position, how to use the legs and make turns and changes of direction as well as speeding up and slowing down the horse, stopping and communicating.
Swing analysis, including the correct grip along with phases, timing and follow through of the swing and stick-and-ball training will also be part of the course. Participants will also be introduced to strategy and tactics as part of four interactive, live sessions and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the online clinic.
All registered participants will also be in with the chance to win a free individual polo session and a videotaped in-depth swing analysis.
