British hairdressing industry rallies to Season of Giving

WHAT a year 2020 has been, head and shoulders above any other year in memory and one of the most challenging years around the world and for the hairdressing industry. In this week’s edition of Hairdressers Journal there are quite a few in the British industry who look back with a clear class-half-full attitude.

Hairdressing has been one of the most talked about industries throughout the ups and downs of successive lockdowns but there has been plenty of good news. Find out more about how clients who battled through with shaggy, ‘natural look’ locks have expressed their gratitude when doors opened again – and again, and how the British Hairdressing Awards went global, bringing a world community together – at least for one virtual night. It has been a year of innovation, inspiration and coming up with creative solutions and the industry has risen above the fray with new business ventures, new client-focused interiors and giving the next generation of hairdressers their chance to shine.
