Coping with Covid
In lockdown Isolation, cocooned, frustrated, no hugs
Disconnected, want to weep, can’t sleep
Socially distanced, stuck at home
anxious, alone
Even the covid cloud with regard with dismay
has a silver lining beaming brighter each day
less stress, time to bake
peace and quiet, less fake
meditation, bird song
we love, we get long
Covid death toll, new cases
Pandemic all places,
disbelief, pissed off,
can’t grieve, cut off

Meet by zom, new solutions
cherry blossoms, less pollution,
each well, time to heal
To dance and laugh and feel
For when we look back on Covid 19,
We remember silver linings that gleaned
