Paris, the city of lights, the city of fashion. Back in the early days when a person could afford to travel to Paris to be fitted for custom made Parisian gowns they were also purchasing a status symbol. A garment designed and hand crafted by a French couturière was the ultimate sign of distinction. Now, if you watch the Master of Arts Graduate Show 2021, of the Institut Français de la Mode, you’ll see the creations of young fashion designers from around the globe. And that diversity and inclusion is what breathes life into Paris Fashion Week.
