Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton, employed the Louvre as his runway. He presented a sumptuous collection of must-have apparel and desirable accessories. Cocoon shaped capes, elongated silhouettes with bubble skirts that gathered at the hem and blouson jackets that seemed to embrace the models in a gigantic warm hug were shown. Louis Vuitton partnered with Italian design atelier Fornasetti, whose drawings of ancient portraits are iconic in the luxury home décor market.
