…and it’s bringing hope, healing and David Hockney!

We plan to reopen our doors from Tuesday 18 May, and as we look forward to welcoming you back to the RA we’re preparing a season of incredible artists, inspiring ideas and ways to feed your own creativity – from wherever you are.

There have been a couple of changes to our exhibition programme due to the coronavirus pandemic — find out more about our
revised exhibition schedule
.

We couldn’t have made it through the past year without our Friends. Thank you so much for your support. As ever, Friends will continue to have priority access to all our exhibitions. However, due to social distancing, capacity in our galleries is greatly reduced and sadly we can’t guarantee access if time slots are fully booked.

If you have an existing booking which has been affected by closure, we’ll be in touch with you very soon to rearrange. In the meantime, keep an eye on your inbox or follow us on your favourite social media platform to be the first to hear when more tickets become available.

From 18 May, our new opening hours will be Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 6pm.

Michael Armitage: Paradise Edict
will open on 22 May. Friends previews will take place on 20 & 21 May.

David Hockney: The Arrival of Spring, Normandy, 2020
will open on 23 May. Friends previews will take place on 20, 21 and 22 May.
