IFI – This week: IFI French Film Festival 2021 continues

The 2021 IFI French Film Festival continues this week, until Sunday 28th, with screenings in-cinema at the IFI and online on IFI@Home. Documentary on artificial intelligence The Brain, LGBT comedy-drama My Best Part, and fictionalised account of the stresses of bipolar disorder on a relationship, The Restless, are all included in this week’s line-up.

In-cinema screenings cost €11.50 for IFI Members; €13.00 for non-Members. 5-film passes are available directly from the IFI Box Office. IFI@Home rentals cost €7.50.

Between Two Worlds (Limited tickets)

Marianne (Juliette Binoche), a successful writer, goes undercover as a contract cleaner in Caen in northern France to research her next book, an exposé of France’s employment crisis, the gig economy and the trials of the minimum wage treadmill. Working on ferries crossing between Ouistreham and Portsmouth, Marianne meets Christèle (Hélène Lambert), a single mother with whom she bonds.
