A ‘Little Way’ to support cancer charity and get ahead of that Christmas shopping list
A LITTLE independent charity with a big heart is fundraising for Centre users and the families who have been affected by cancer.
Founded in 2003 by the late Evelyn McKee, the Little Way Cancer Support Centre in Kildare Ireland has helped thousands of people who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families and friends by providing a range of therapies or, just a simple cup of tea and a chat.
Now with the addition of a new shopping app on their social media platforms holiday gifts including the new 2022 calendar with photography by Kevin Carr Ltd can be shipped anywhere in Ireland for €8. The online holiday shopping point at https://the-little-way-cancer-support-centre.sumup.link also includes a bespoke Christmas decoration by Eddie Byrne Glass Designs and handcrafted candles.
“It is (available) on our social media,” said Little Way director Dearbhail Maloney, daughter of the late founder. “We have (the) Shopify (app) and there are a few other little bits and pieces.”
The Little Way Cancer Support Centre receives just three percent in government funding to provide free services to clients and their families and friends, the remainder earned by the registered charity through donations and fundraising including purchases of the new calendar.
Dearbhail Maloney added: “The calendar is such good value and (there are) 12 self-care action plans to undertake in 2022.”
Get the new calendar delivered anywhere in the world by sending a message to the Little Way on Instagram or Facebook.
