Countdown to Cheltenham Festival is on

Feel free to share:

THE year in jump racing has been filled with spectacular highs and with the countdown to the Cheltenham Festival next March, what a year it has been.

Champion Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore has had a fantastic year. Will she be reprising her success next March at the Cheltenham Festival?

Champion Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore has finished the year at the top of her game, only just recently being named the BBC World Sports Star at the Sports Personality of the Year awards and Irish television RTE Sports Star of the Year. The year for the Tipperary Ireland native was capped by becoming the first female jockey to be crowned leading rider at the Festival with six winners across for days, followed one month later to become the first female jockey to win the Randox Grand National in 182 years of the race.

Ticket sales have already been brisk for the Cheltenham Festival 2022

Tickets for Cheltenham Festival 2022 have gone on sale and the November Meeting’s three days of spectacular action has already thrown up race card predictions. Will Rachael Blackmore return to The Festival to defend her title? Will she succeed on Gold Cup Day at more races than any female jockey has done before?

It may seem ahead of schedule to be talking about the possibility of Rachael Blackmore reprising her ground-breaking success, but a ticket to The Festival, available online at https://www.thejockeyclub.co.uk is the ultimate Christmas gift filled with days to remember while watching world-class jump racing at its heart. A new hospitality offering, the Four Eighty will be officially unveiled and there is a Santa’s sack full of gift cards from The Jockey Club to choose.
