Lá Fhéile Pádraig – Happy St Patrick’s Day from across Ireland

Feel free to share:

St Patrick’s Day revellers were out across Ireland in their thousands on St Patrick’s Day 17 March for the first time since parades were cancelled in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic. Festivities around the country even got the nod from the often uncooperative Irish weather across all four provinces; from Leinster to Munster and on to Connaught and Ulster the traditional day for wearing the green exceeded all expectations under blue skies and sunshine.

Huge crowds were expected and the country’s towns and cities with throngs of people, making sure not to miss a minute of the return to celebrations of Ireland’s patron saint.
