Ollie’s Army are back for four nights of pure carnage, legendary pop anthems and bloody historical re-enactments. But listen, he’s very sorry, really very sorry. Really.

‘Oliver Cromwell is Really Very Sorry’ is an alternative musical theatre performance exploring Oliver Cromwell’s life in Ireland through the queer lens and ‘cancel culture’ from the man who banned Christmas. With lead art and writing by Anthony Keigher, direction and additional writing by Sam Curtis Lindsay, set design by Emma Bailey and production by Hannah Turk, the high-tempo disco soundtrack, lyrics and movement channels Oliver Cromwell through song, historical re-enactments, nationalism to the extreme and contentious historical revisions.
