Hello and welcome to the latest edition of IFI Weekly

Opening this week are Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell led The Banshees of Inisherin, Park Chan-Wook’s latest neo-noir romantic mystery Decision to Leave, and psychological thriller The Good Nurse starring Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne.

Special events at the IFI this Sunday 23rd include a family screening of Even Mice Belong in Heaven and October’s Mystery Matinée. Later in the week, on Wednesday 26th, Cry Macho will screen with open captions as part of Wild Strawberries, our over 55s film club.

This year’s IFI Horrorthon looms on the horizon, running from Thursday 27th to Monday 31st. Meanwhile, tickets for this years IFI French Film Festival are on sale. Book now to avoid disappointment!

Crusty one-time rodeo star and horse breeder, Mike (Clint Eastwood) is asked by an old pal to bring his estranged son back. Mike and the boy embark on an eventful journey, carving out an agreeable and affectionate relationship.
