This Must Be The Place – Ciara Roche Lecture
Thurs, 6 October, 5:30pm
This Must Be The Place is a new series of free public lectures here at the RHA that takes its title from the 1983 Talking Heads song, a song that was unusual in their catalogue as a love song to place and home. The series opens with a talk by Ciara Roche. Her paintings are restless and full of detail, they are an exploration of light & colour, they can be uncanny and sometimes off kilter – familiar places made strange.
