Beef and Wine Tasting at the Argentine Ambassador’s Residence in Ireland
SOME of the best of Argentina’s wine and beef was featured at an exclusive tasting event in the Ambassador of Argentina’s residence in Dublin Ireland hosted by Her Excellency Ana Laura Cachaza and Deputy Head of Mission, Minister Nicolas Francisco Vidal.
The South American country is known throughout the world for the tango and its football and polo legends while wines have been taken to the heart of Irish wine connoisseurs and Argentine-bred beef is capturing nationwide interest.
The Trade Only event on 13 March offered an exceptional opportunity for Irish-based businesses to engage with a selection of Argentine drink enterprises, all under one roof at the prestigious Dublin residence. Argentina produces a variety of wines from different wine-growing regions, far beyond the famous Malbec while the country’s beef exports are growing due to naturally raised, tender and juicy beef from fertile grasslands.
Wine experts at the trade business event included 3SAPAS, the Bodega Group which brought Bosque Craft Gin and Feriado Vermouth to the tasting; Luca Wines, Mackenway, Renacer and Milamore Wine, MacCormaics and Wenfor. Argentine beef was expertly prepared on a traditional asado grill and served in bite-size pieces.
