As the days get longer and the sun shines brighter, Windsor Castle is bustling with exciting activities.
We’re thrilled to unveil a season packed with fun family activities, tempting new offerings at our café and your chance to pick up our refreshing Royal Windsor Pink Gin.
Did you know the King’s Bedchamber at the Castle has a bed acquired by George IV? Surprisingly, although it’s called the King’s Bedchamber, the king himself almost certainly never slept there.
Be sure to visit the Undercoft Café for a taste of summer. Enjoy fresh salads, home-made soups and sandwiches. Our sandwiches are filled with fresh locally sourced ingredients within 100 miles of Windsor Castle.
To celebrate 100 years of Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, new tiny books were created including a miniature version of The Gruffalo. You can see the tiny books on display as part of your visit to the Castle.
Our refreshing gin is perfect for sipping in the summer sun. Infused with hand-picked raspberries from across the Royal Estate in Windsor, it has a fruity finish and vibrant pink hue.
