Every day of the 2024 Paralympic Games has been full of fantastic Para sport action, and the last day wasn’t any different! Relive some of the great sporting achievements of Paris 2024, including an amazing performance in the marathon from Swiss wheelchair racers and the Woodhalls completing their incredible summer with Hunter’s first gold. Another spectacular Paralympics has come to an end, with outstanding performances and incredible stories behind every medal. The Closing Ceremony officially concluded the Games at the Stade de France with an unforgettable show, setting the bar high for Los Angeles 2028.

TREMENDOUS SHOWING FROM SWISS WHEELCHAIR RACERS
Switzerland claimed double gold as the unstoppable Marcel Hug won the men’s T54 marathon for the third consecutive time at the Paralympics, joined by Catherine Debrunner, whose gold in the women’s T54 was her fifth victory at Paris 2024. “Winning this Paralympic marathon means it all to me.”

MEET GOLDEN COUPLE HUNTER AND TARA
When Team USA’s Hunter Woodhall won the men’s 400m T62, he celebrated with his wife Tara Davis-Woodhall, repeating a now famous scene from the Olympics when she won women’s long jump gold, but with the roles reversed. It was Woodhall’s first Paralympic gold, a perfect finish for the power couple.
