Three stellar new releases grace our big screen this week with 2000 Metres to Andriivka, Late Shift and Oslo Stories Trilogy: Dreams. However, if you’re more in the mood for a classic, the boldly subversive, gay romance My Beautiful Laundrette starring Daniel Day-Lewis, returns this week for it’s fortieth anniversary.
Meanwhile, a whole treasure trove of other queer cinematic gems are waiting to be discovered with GAZE Film Festival happening at the IFI this week! Highlights include High Art on Friday 1st, aemi presents: A Body to Live In on Sunday 3rd, and Scannáin Aiteach on Monday 4th.
Looking for something to do with the younger film fans in your life? The IFI Family Festival takes place from August 15th – 17th with a whole host of fantastic family films and creative activities to enjoy across the weekend. Tickets are on sale now!
