Twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz who goes by the name Ibeyi, meaning twins in Yoruba, released their album last year which got past genres and created an unique sound, influenced by the Diaz Twins of Cuban and Parisian heritage. Their songs are in French, English and Yoruba, the Nigerian dialect used primarily in west Africa.

Amandla Stenberg
