This is a Tosca well worth catching
Here’s something for our Arts & Culture fans. Monday saw the opening of our ‘visually arresting’ (The Times) revival of Puccini’s Tosca. Directed by Catherine Malfitano, the production stars Keri Alkema, in her London debut, alongside Gwyn Hughes Jones, both singing ‘beautifully and with great force’ (Daily Express). Craig Colclough is excellent as the ‘gastly, nasty Scarpia’ (The Independent) and Puccini specialist Oleg Caetani conducts.
Only ten performances until 3 December
Next showing: 8, 12 & 14 October
Tickets from £12 – £125* (plus booking fee)
