New limited editions designed by Friends
We are delighted to launch a new range of prints designed by Friends as part of the competition, to celebrate the Friends 40th anniversary.
This is a competition we ran over the summer in collaboration with CultureLabel, where we asked Friends to create a piece of Art on A4, inspired by the question what does the RA mean to you? The prize was a year’s contract as a chosen and promoted artist with CultureLabel including mentorship.
We received over a 100 submissions which were judged by our Secretary and Chief Executive, Charles Saumarez Smith and Commercial Director of CultureLabel, Lucy Baxter. Antony Harrison won the competition with his submission Friday nights at the RA. Read CultureLabel’s blog on the judging process.
A new range of limited edition prints designed using the artwork of Antony and five runners up are now available for purchase through CultureLabel. The original artworks will be displayed at the Royal Academy during the Friends 40th anniversary reception next year.
