Transparent Bags and How to Wear them
I’m sure you have heard of the sheer trend, if not go and read our trend talk last week now (here). But this micro-trend takes things a little bit further. Did you see the clear Chanel bags encasing the classic flap bags that were sent down the runway last autumn and think what the …. ? Us too. But now we are beginning to see all the most stylish fashionistas sporting a clear “handbag-bag”. And its thanks to them that we do not run and hide at the idea of transparent bags as they have very kindly shown us how to do the trend, without having your handbag contents on show to the world.
The thing to do with this trend, is perhaps more aesthetic than practical. But you basically carry your handbag in a co-ordinating clear bag (see imagery). At least it will provide a bit of waterproofing in the April showers, but makes it a lengthy task going to grab your lipstick or anything else for that matter.
