Ring in the Festive Cheer at Manor West’s Christmas Food & Craft Fair Weekend

Manor West Shopping Centre and Retail Park celebtated their weekend-long Christmas Food and Craft Fair, which took place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of December 2019. The annual pre-Christmas weekend sees the shopping centre play host to a variety of local food producers and craftspeople, giving them an opportunity to showcase their produce and creations.

Manor West has hosted a number of Food & Craft Fairs this year, welcoming a diverse range of local entrepreneurs and kindly allowing them to exhibit at the fair free of charge. The Christmas Food and Craft Fair Weekend has become a special festive tradition for the people of Tralee, where they can sample the very best of local artisan produce and find unique handmade gifts in the run up to Christmas.

Derek Rusk, Shopping Centre Manager commented, “We look forward to the Christmas Food and Craft Fair Weekend every year here in Manor West Shopping Centre. Out of all the fairs we host here throughout the year, the Christmas Food and Craft Fair Weekend is a particularly special one for us, as it really helps everyone feel that festive spirit. It promises to be a fun-filled weekend for all the family and a magical Christmas shopping experience.”

Eve McKay from Eve’s Leaves, exhibited at the Christmas Weekend Fair, commented, “The Manor West Christmas Food & Craft Fair Weekend is such a nice pre-Christmas event for all the family. It’s a great space for us as local entrepreneurs to exhibit our produce and crafts and we’re all so grateful to Manor West for giving us these opportunities throughout the year. The fair is also a lovely day out before Christmas and gives shoppers the perfect opportunity to find that special, one of a kind gift. Most of all, it gives people a chance to feel some Christmas cheer with their loved ones as festivities get under way.”

Parking is free of charge at Manor West, with over 1,000 manned car parking areas over the festive period as well as extra parking opened daily behind Debenhams and beside Woodie’s during peak traffic times. Children will be able to visit Santa and his friends for free every Saturday and Sunday from 12-6pm, right up to December 23rd.
