How to dazzle, top tips on preparing for a night out

Oh my did we learn a lot of lessons in 2019! One that has taken a particular front seat at the moment is preparing for an event, or a night out! Probably seeing as the party season has just concluded, but we are also in the midst of awards season, so the red carpets are still very glam! 

So in the spirit of that we thought we would share with you our top tips on how to prepare for a night out! Tried and tested in December 2019 in preparation for the British Fashion Awards! 

Number 1. Nail your tanning routine at least a month in advance! Test out the tan that works for you. Ensure that the week prior to the event, you scrub and moisturise… religiously! Then two days before go in with your tan. This then gives you a chance to touch up anything if it went wrong or scrub those hands if they went orange! 

Next! Try on your outfit in advance and make sure you are comfortable! Try taking some pictures to find your angles if you want photos taken and make sure that you are looking good from all angles! Make sure you find the right underwear solution too! Plan your make up and hair before the event, and know how long they will take so you are not rushed at the last minute! This can be stressful!! 

If you are wearing a dress where your legs will be on show, do not wear jeans or trousers where the seam will leave a mark on your skin. Not a good look ladies! Could have done with remembering this a while ago! Also use a bit of shimmery oil down the centre of your legs to give that extra wow factor at an event!
