This exciting development in international leisure travel was unveiled by leisure service Travel Portland in association with the UK-based Black Diamond PR at The Woollen Mills in Dublin, Ireland, attended by around 40 Irish travel influencers on Tuesday, 28th January.

The new, comprehensive service has been designed as a leisure showcase of Portland and its environs while business travellers may also want to take advantage of one of the USA’s tax-free zones. Air service from Dublin to Portland will include as little as a single connecting flight, offered by a variety of airlines operating in Ireland.

“This was an opportunity to get to know you and to talk about Portland,” said Senior International PR Manager Laura Guimond, Travel Portland. “It was an opportunity to find out more about your interests and talk about what Portland has to offer.”

The evening event in The Woollen Mills on Dublin’s Ormond Quay featured a taste of Portland’s Westward craft whiskey along with the new Michelin Getaway Guide and latest edition of the city’s visitors guide, samples of craft chocolate and the region’s bee lip balm, and a hand-woven Pendleton Woollen Mills scarf.
