Gevrey-Chambertin produces some of Burgundy’s richest and most structured styles of Pinot Noir.

This example comes from Domaine Alain Burguet, a property now in the hands of Alain’s talented sons Jean-Luc and Eric. They blend no fewer than 23 parcels of old vines (all at least 40 years in age) to create their Symphonie cuvée. The result is a juicy, harmonious mixture of dark red berry fruit, cut through with cooling acidity – a trademark of the superb 2017 vintage.

A wine that sings of its terroir, this red Burgundy is charming, approachable and currently reduced by 30%.
