In home-based care facilities, UNICEF trains parents to provide early learning, stimulation and nutrition from their own homes to children in their communities who live too far to attend an early childhood development (ECD) model centre.
Visiting Ngorerero District, UNICEF saw how people are learning to the appropriate times to wash their hands with soap and clean water, from early childhood centres to schools to health facilities.
