Ermanno Scervino who celebrates the 20th anniversary of the brand this year has concocted an entirely black and white collection with exceptional touches of blue and pink pastels. The collection’s binary is not only chromatic : softness and roughness meet at an unsettling intersection. In fact, the juxtaposition of black and white generates space for an exploration of opposite moods through fashion. Leather, denim, jute, lace, coton and chiffon are used exactly where they are need to balance the carefully curated harmony of all looks. Leather ensembles are softened with carvings, cotton is embroidered, its volumes are tampered with. Sophisticated fringes dangle from simple jackets and below-the-knee boots.
