New week new upskills programmes with Hairdressers Journal Live

HAIRDRESSERS Journal Live will continue the new Upskills Series for a second week from this Monday 18 January with a variety of continuing and new programming.

Beauty business expert Liz McKeon wrapped up the first instalment of the series (11-16 January) with Hairdressers Journal International Editor Laura Husbands, and will be on again this Thursday 28 January with the second part on how to create a successful business plan.

Kate Woods will open the second HJ Live Upskills week with the return of her digital skills webinar

 

Also returning this Monday at 10am GMT will be Kate Woods with the second in the series on mastering social media, and content from the series’ first week as well as registration platforms in the series can be accessed at https://www.hji.co.uk and on the Hairdressers Journal Facebook page along with PBHJ (Professional Beauty Hairdressers Journal) Ireland.

“You can use the comments (section) during our live sessions to engage with others within the hairdressing community who are going through exactly the same thing as you and ask our experts live questions too,” said Laura Husbands. “We hope you enjoy our new HJ Upskills series and we look forward to seeing you all ‘virtually’ during the live sessions.”

The HJ Live Series provides training and continuing skills development while businesses are closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The masterclass on social media with Kate Woods will be followed this Monday at 3pm GMT with Session Stylist Lisa Farrall on ‘Laidback Looks’ and on Tuesday (19 January) at 10am GMT, Sarah Mason will talk through ‘Becoming an Ultimate Wella Colourist’. The Tuesday series instalment continues will Hellen Ward at 1pm GMT, talking tough about rising to the top of the industry with HJ managing director Mark Moloney.

HJ Live Upskills Series week two wraps up with the return of Liz McKeon and Laura Husbands on the successful business webinar part two

 

This Wednesday 20 January will see everyone on the hot new social platform Clubhouse at 1pm GMT, and the week concludes with Liz McKeon back with Laura Husbands this Thursday at 12.30pm GMT to discuss what businesses can learned from last year.
