Ireland’s Deputy Head of Government launches virtual Showcase Ireland

THE Deputy Head of the Irish government, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar TD, the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment has formally launched the first ever virtual Showcase Ireland. The launch took place at Leinster House in Dublin Ireland, the seat of the Irish Parliament (Oireachtas) via video link on Monday, 25 January. In the video the Tánaiste encouraged all of Ireland’s makers and artists to continue innovating. The Tánaiste added that he is looking forward to welcoming everyone back in person to next year’s event and brighter days ahead.
