THE Hairdressers Journal Live Upskills Series has reached its fourth week and it is an exciting week to mark the first full month of free opportunities to pick of practical tips while learning new skills and meet some of the leading industry experts.

Keeks Reid

While this Monday 1st February at 10am GMT with digital and social content specialist Keeks Reid will launch a full four days of advice and insights on how to make a salon business great, the week brings winning industry experts as well from the HJ British Business Awards that recently took place online.

“Focus on yourself and find positivity in what you are doing,” said session tech, educator and author Marian Newman at a Week Three talk with Professional Beauty Group Founder and Managing Director Mark Moloney. “Plan for when you can reopen and hit the ground running.”

Sam Burnette

Meet Sam Burnett this Tuesday 2 February, hairstylist and salon owner of the award-winning Hare & Bone. The BaByliss Pro ambassador will be on Zoom at 10am GMT with a styling Masterclass, and the session will be streamed through the HJ Live link and on Professional Beauty Hairdressers Journal Ireland.

Sally Brooks

Hairdressers Journal Executive Director and HJ Editor in Chief Jayne Lewis-Orr will be talking this Wednesday at 10am GMT with Brooks & Brooks co-founder Sally Brooks, HJ’s British Hairdresser of the year 2020 in a session not to be missed to gain insights into how she has built a successful salon.

Get inside information on the five mistakes that lose salons money and how to fix them with The Delforge Group founder and chief executive Valerie Delforge this Thursday 4 February at 12.30pm GMT. The session will be streamed on HJ Live Upskills and PBHJ Ireland.

All sessions receive one CPD Hour each attended, courtesy of VTCT.
