Lift the lockdown blues with the new TONI&GUY Digital Academy

Feel free to share:

THE TONI&GUY artistic team has just launched the streaming Digital Academy on Instagram @toniandguydigitalacademy and while the new education platform is being touted for the hairdressing industry, there is plenty of content to lift the lockdown blues.

Developed from The Breakfast Club inspirational page, the concept has blossomed into a global online community that initially spanned the gap with live events until the second lockdown finally lifted.

With the third lockdown looking as if it is here to stay for a little longer yet, the artistic team led by Head of Education Cos Sakkas have developed the ‘Keep It Real’ live and exclusive creative webinar series at the TONI&GUY Digital Academy. The series will be available even after each webinar is live-streamed.

“We use our social platforms every day as an effective communication tool for clients and students,” said Cos Sakkas. “We showcase hair tutorials on our @toniandguyworld Instagram handle which has more than 200,000 followers so it made sense to harness the power of social media to teach.”

While the opening ‘Look & Learn’ webinar streamed live on Tuesday 9 February and can be seen on Instagram at TONI&GUY, ‘Inspiration Insights’ will be streamed live next Tuesday, 16 February from 10am to 10.45am GMT. The TONI&GUY Digital Academy continues with ‘Look & Learn’ on 23 February from 11am to 12.30pm GMT and the weekly series concludes on 2 March with ‘Inspiration Insight’ from 10am to 10.45am GMT.

Added Cos Sakkas, “I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved.”
