Little Italy Wine Portfolio
One of Ireland’s top Sommeliers Martina Delaney is the newest member of the team at Little Italy. Little Italy is regarded as Ireland’s leading Italian food and wine importer servicing hotels, cafés, restaurants, delicatessens and gourmet shops, as well as the general public through its Smithfield-based retail shop and online offering.
Their wine list is very impressive and the portfolio is definitely worth a look. Martina joined the company last Christmas with an aim to further develop wine sales. Martina works closely with Little Italy’s Managing Director, Bettina Rabitte, who took over managing the company from her late father Sylvester, who founded Little Italy over 40 years ago.
The portfolio includes Guido Matteo, Piedmont; Ca’ del Bosco, Lombardy; Mionetto Prosecco; Puiatti, Friuli Venezeia Giulia; Cantine Gini, Tuscany; Fattoria dei Barbi, Montalcino. Fazi Battaglia, Marche and Corvo, Sicily among many others.
Little Italy are pleased to announce that they have been appointed distributors of the famous Ferrari sparkling wine. Ferrari Brut Trento DOC is one of Italy’s most famous sparkling wines. Ferrari Brut is made using the Méthode Champenoise or “Traditional Method” and was crowned “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships 2017 and more recently was announced as the official sponsors of Formula 1.
