Paul Costelloe’s beautifully vibrant 60s inspired Autumn Winter 2021 collection previewed at London Fashion Week last weekend. With big proportions and bright prints, it had all of the retro flair, but at the same time had influences of British Heritage, a trend that is becoming more and more prominent, arguably due to lockdown with many people enjoying country walks.

Another notable trend in which Costelloe played with was Yellow. The Pantone Colour of the year, it certainly brings us that much needed joy, and the collection did that beautifully.

Other than that, the colour palette that was mostly featured was primary colours. But as the collection and show progressed, we began to see some floaty, toned down shades as well as some beautifully feminine silhouettes.

A micro trend, and a win for practicality, is tights. Seen on many of the looks within the show. Another accessory, with practicality was faux fur.
