Passionate about the food they source, Thyme Out use only the freshest ingredients. Everything from their honey baked ham and rotisserie chicken to salads and dressings are prepared daily in their kitchen. With a selection of classic gourmet sandwiches such as tuna melts and chicken pesto, as well as specialities like Tandoori Chicken and Italian Milano for their Sambo of the Week, there is something for everyone. You can also build your own if you prefer something a little different. For a healthier option, freshly prepared salad boxes are a popular choice. Try one of their new additions – Lentil and Harrissa or Spicy Cauliflower, or their deli salad lunch box that includes a mix of salads.
Savoury delights such as sausage rolls, pork pies, mini quiches, vegetarian chickpea rolls and spinach and feta quiches are a customer favourite and cult following at Thyme Out. Although Elizabeth-Sarah began her career as Corporate Solicitor, she has always been passionate about food and business. “When I had deadlines to meet, as a busy solicitor, I found cooking was my outlet for stress. But it was while I was on maternity leave that I decided I needed a career change. Fortunately, the opportunity to take over Thyme Out came along and I grabbed it with both hands. Dalkey is my hometown, and it’s where I live with my young family. There is a wonderful sense of community here.”
