Swarovski unveils pop colorful jewelry embodied by Lourdes Léon
Swarovski unveils its second collection of jewelry imagined by its new artistic director, the stylist and figurehead of street style Giovanna Engelbert. On the program: multicolored and unisex creations, which revisit in a contemporary way the great classics of the Austrian house.
After presenting her first collection for Swarovski last March – composed of flamboyant maximalist creations – Giovanna Engelbert unveils a second line of crystal jewelry in the same vein as the first, mixing abundant colors and contemporary design. Simply titled “Collection II”, it was also designed by Wonderlab, an unprecedented creative laboratory in the world of jewelry launched at the start of the year, which combines science and creative imagination to create jewelry with a unique aesthetic. For this collection, Swarovski is inspired by its Austrian heritage to enrich its use of crystal, imagining new cuts, shapes and colors.
“Collection II gives us the opportunity to dive even further into our world of wonders: from the muses of the bohemian movement to the aesthetics of the Bauhaus through the green nature of the landscapes of Klimt” , says Giovanna Engelbert of the inspirations from the collection. Combining minimalist design and maximalist creations, this range for men and women showcases Swarovski’s signature crystal in an infinite color palette. We then find jewelry in the shape of stars (in reference to a famous set worn by the Empress of Austria Sissi), geometric bib necklaces, oversized rings with pop tones and a profusion of chains.
