Spring Fair – We’re thinking about buying for Christmas 2022
Editor’s note
Whilst there are numerous reports of consumers all shopping online this year, if footfall into the Christmas markets is anything to believe, consumers are going back to the high street and online sales as a proportion of retail sales is back down at 25% (down 10% on 6 months ago) seems to support this rebalancing of where people are spending their money.
Christmas is a special time on the high street, the experience is something that can’t be replicated with a click, and the news that the average consumer is looking to spend an average of £489 each on Christmas gifting will provide a welcome boost in this year’s golden quarter.
The team here at Spring Fair are starting to gear up to what feels like the most anticipated Spring Fair in 76 years. We are very much looking forward to opening our doors to you on the 6th of Feb!
