Showcase Ireland live event registration opens
SHOWCASE Ireland, one of the country’s largest international trade shows will once again take place live and in-person from 27 February to 2 March in the RDS Dublin, and registration has opened online at https://www.showcaseireland.com.
The show will showcase hundreds of curated brands across three main categories including Home & Gift, Jewellery and Fashion & Accessories, returning to a live event following lockdown restrictions last year. Organisers, makers and designers have agreed on providing a live event in a safe and secure environment.
“We believe that by this new date confident face-to-face interaction will have returned following the effective distribution of booster vaccines and the passing of the latest wave of Covid-19,” said Showcase Ireland Chair Mary Palmer when the live dates were confirmed in December. “We want to assure you that we will deliver a safe and comfortable environment for retailers and makers to come together, leading we hope to positive outcomes for all.”
Ones to watch at this year’s Home & Giftware Showcase include Nicholas Mosse Pottery, Brook & Shoals Fragrances and Donegal Tweed while jewellers Solvar, Lynsey DeBurca and Christina Goldstone will feature fund designs to future heirlooms, marrying centuries of tradition with a modern approach to making and design.
With consumer trends turning towards the sustainable, handmade and local, Showcase will present some of the very best on the market. Ones to watch at this year’s event include Magee 1866, McConnell Knitwear and Dubarry of Ireland.
Added Mary Palmer: “We hope that we can welcome you to Dublin at the end of February so that you may have the opportunity to touch the beautiful products, meet the makers and enjoy their stories.”
Showcase was founded in 1976 by Design & Crafts Council Ireland and is delivered with support from Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices.
