Creative director of Roberto Cavalli since October 2020, Fausto Puglisi continues to capture the heritage of the Italian housein ultra-contemporary rooms. The use of prints on materials such as leather or jeans, characteristic of its founder’s know-how since 1970, is at the heart of this new men’s collection, crossing Fausto Puglisi’s punk inspiration with animal and floral motifs. at the heart of the Roberto Cavalli DNA. Like his last collection, which was inspired in particular by the sado-masochistic wardrobe, the Italian designer unveils numerous leather outfits embellished with buckles, eyelets and armor-like harnesses, while bomber jackets in brocade, bomber and biker jackets – particularly appreciated by Fausto Puglisi – bring together all the key elements of the rock wardrobe, down to the studs and other metallic details that adorn the boots, derbies, belts and harnesses. The body is almost completely covered there, only revealed by a few yokes of tulle or by side slits that reveal the top of the legs. Combining dark and warm tones, the palette marked by many blacks, coppers and golds incorporates a few monochrome purple or orange looks, while zebra, python and floral prints invite themselves on jeans or leather, with small touches on sweaters, or all-over on fitted suits.
