BELLINTER House Hotel & Spa in the Royal County of Meath Ireland has just launched Preston’s Restaurant, and the menu offerings are simply marvellous.

The restaurant, newly decorated in warm shades of velvety deep blue and grey with brass accents and custom wainscoting can be found in the lower floor of what was once the kitchens and storerooms below the c1750 Georgian Era manor house in the Palladian style. Helmed by Chef Stephane Moreau, the restaurant in its previous incarnation consistently maintained a double AA Rosette award, and the trend in excellence is expected to continue through Irish-sourced menus including salmon cured in Listoke Gin and Andarl Farm free range pork.

Bellinter House Hotel & Spa general manager commented: “We are very excited to invite our guests and neighbours to what we hope will be the setting for great days and nights out.”

Bellinter House sits near the River Boyne within sight of ancient Tara of the High Kings of Ireland, not far from historic Newgrange and the town of Navan. Situated within 12 acres of mature parkland, amenities offered include the Bathhouse Spa as well as outdoor and sheltered dining.

Preston’s Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily while lunch daily is in the Main House, and Afternoon Tea by appointment. While Bellinter House is renowned as a wedding venue, short and long stays are welcome.

“We are a hotel but our weddings would be 50 percent of what we do,” said the hotel’s wedding and events coordinator. “The rest is with our hotel guests, and it is best to have it that way.”
