Kids Art Workshop
Sat, 15 April, 11am – 1pm
Join artist Michelle Hall for a unique art workshop inspired by Cecilia Bullo’s exhibition, ‘Being haunted by the breezes, now how will you exist?’.
For this workshop, the group will visit Cecilia Bullo’s exhibition to look at the artworks, draw in the gallery and then head to the art studio in the RHA to explore sculpture making, inspired by the different objects, shapes and textures in the exhibition.
This is a free event suitable for 5-12 year olds. Booking is required.

Slow Art Day 2023

This year over 100 museums internationally, including the RHA, hope to enhance the visitor’s experience by participating in Slow Art Day. We’re inviting you to visit the RHA and wind down by looking closely at a specific artwork or an exhibition.
We hope you’ll enjoy some mindful moments and relaxation as you wander through our galleries. After your time with the artworks on display, join RHA Curator Sarah McAuliffe for a discussion on your thoughts and discoveries.
This is a free event but booking is required.

Cecilia Bullo & Sinéad Gleeson In-conversation

We’re delighted to welcome Cecilia Bullo and writer Sinéad Gleeson for an In-conversation event on April 19th. The pair will discuss Bullo’s current exhibition at the RHA and speak about their individual practices and how they overlap.
This event is free and booking is not required.

RHA SCHOOL
Summer Self-Directed Life Drawing course
June (Fridays 10-5pm)
This course offers an opportunity for professional artists and students to practise working from the live model in order to maintain a high skill level and practice drawing. This is a 5-week term with classes taking place each Friday in June from 10am – 5pm. The course facilitator will be RHA Head of School, Colin Martin RHA.
Course fee €180.

Masterclass: Speedy Sketch to Long Pose – Painting the Figure
Sat 10 – Sun 11 June
This masterclass with Siobhán O’Callaghan will provide an opportunity to hone observation skills and become immersed in the process of rendering what we observe in life, onto canvas. O’Callaghan’s work finds form primarily through oil paint, with drawing, photography and video contributing to the process.
Course fee €220
